Travis DeLucenay brings over twenty years of combined legal and accounting experience to Moskowitz LLP, offering clients the rare advantage of counsel who is both an attorney and a Certified Public Accountant. With a strong foundation in tax law and controversy, Travis specializes in complex resolution matters at both the federal and state level. His credentials allow him to bridge legal and financial strategies, providing thoughtful, results-driven solutions for individuals and businesses facing serious tax challenges.
Throughout his career, Travis has represented clients in a wide range of industries—including real estate, manufacturing, hospitality, professional and financial services, retail, and healthcare—on matters ranging from audits and collections to voluntary disclosures and criminal investigations. He has successfully defended clients in IRS and state audits, saving millions in proposed assessments, and regularly negotiates with government agencies to resolve disputes, reduce penalties, and protect business operations. Travis is also experienced in representing clients in employment tax, sales and use tax, and out-of-state nexus audits as well as in assisting non-filers attain compliance.
His practice is tailored to representing clients from an initial audit or tax concern, through representation before the United States Tax Court or state tax appeals boards. Travis is a graduate of Marquette University Law School and the University of Notre Dame College of Business. He is licensed to practice law in Wisconsin and is admitted to the United States Tax Court and the Federal District Courts of Wisconsin, in addition to holding an active CPA license. Travis has also earned recognition as a Wisconsin Super Lawyers “Rising Star” for multiple years.
